PRAYER REQUESTS
From Jim Cleaton:
We had a meeting with Denise's Oncologist this week and discussed a treatment plan. We like her doctor, he is a specialist and the Department Head for Gynecological Oncology at UCSD. Treatment will be both chemotherapy and surgery. Will be starting next Sunday with 3-4 cycles of chemotherapy each lasting 21 days. She will then have surgery to remove affected gynecological organs, which will be followed by another 3-4 cycles of chemotherapy.
We are looking at the treatment plan lasting through the summer. Denise continues to be a rock and in good spirits, but having to deal with a loss of appetite and low energy while finishing her recovery.
Support from family and friends has been a big lift for us. We very much appreciate the calls, texts, meals and overall show of love and support. Denise is always reminding us that this is another of God's great adventures in our life and we need to embrace and trust our God.
